On This Date In Chicago Blackhawks history,

On December 10, 2008 Cristobal Huet pitched a shut out and the Blackhawks blanked the Ottawa Senators 2-0 at the United Center.  As stated before in our blogs Huet had a decent run in Chicago until the second half of 2010 when he couldn’t stop the broad side of a barn.

Patrick Kane scored the winning goal on the power play in the 2nd period, and Troy Brower tallied an empty netter in the Blackhawks win.  The Hawks were on a team on the rise in the winter of 2008 and as we all know it was a great run to the 2010 Stanley Cup.

To Bad on December 10, 2012 we are only talking about history instead of the action taking place on the ice at the United Center instead old man in suits talking CBA in boardrooms!
