On this date in Chicago Blackhawks history,

December 22, 2007 a very youthful Chicago Blackhawks made a character building comeback win in Martin Havlat’s first trip back to Ottawa.  Like most of Havlat’s Blackhawks career he made an appearance but in the end he had to leave because of injury.

Patrick Sharp collected a goal in the comeback victory which the Blackhawks trailed 3-1 before tying the contest in the third period.

A very young Jonathan Toews picked up the OT goal for the 4-3 win. A big comeback for a young team that was learning how to win together a few seasons before being able to hoist the Cup in a few more years.

Nikolai Khabibulin picked up the win between the pipes.
