On this date in Chicago Blackhawks history,
On January 6,1979 Ted Bulley scored his first of three career hat tricks for the Chicago Blackhawks against the Toronto Maple Leafs in Toronto. Bulley played 349 career games for the Blackhawks in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Bulley tallied 94 goals in his Blackhawks career and 102 assists and you can throw in 645 penalty minutes. Bulley had his highest scoring season in 1978-1979 with 27 goals.
Bulley would only play two more seasons in the NHL after he left the Blackhawks in 1982, but on this date he netted his first career hat trick!
