Blackhawks Season Starts In LA

It has been reported that the Chicago Blackhawks season will begin in LA where the Stanley Cup currently resides. It will be the mission for the rest of the season to make sure when the final game of the season ends that the new home for the Cup will be in Chicago.
The Hawks season begins against the defending Cup champs the LA Kings at the Staples Center at 2pm following their banner raising ceremonies. The rest of the seasons schedule is to be released after the CBA is ratified by the NHLPA. The owners voted for the CBA today so it’s all in the players court.
We are only eleven days from seeing our favorite team back on the ice in road white jerseys, there was no mention yet when the Hawks will make their home opener at the United Center.
