Lock down the woman and well all the college woman too, Patrick Kane is back in town from his European Retreat! He returned with stitches from an elbow so he unlike most of his teammates he already looks in mid season form.
Kane talked to the media after the Hawks unofficial daily practice. His team played 8 games in 10 nights so he believes he’s ready for the shortened sprint of a 48 game season. In Si.com season preview for the Central Division their biggest surprise prediction was that Patrick Kane would be traded this season. Other GM’s in the past or around the league would probably make this deal, but Stan Bowman seems to be a stockpiler of talent so unless the Hawks were getting more talent in return for a trade I don’t foresee Kane wearing another jersey at the end of this season.
While Patrick Kane was in the neutral country he did put on a spectacular shoot out goal which are never old to watch. Johannah Lowder posted an article with all of Patrick Kane’s best shoot out goals if you would like to reminisce here is the link to some great video!
Kane really had a great ending to the season last season with Toews on the shelf with his concussion, hopefully his trip over the big pond will have him ready to help the Hawks get off to the fast start that they will need to win the Central division this season.
Let’s Go Blackhawks!
