For the entire season Marian Hossa was the most consistent Chicago Blackhawk on the ice which was mentioned in his summer grade. Hossa season was defined by the Raffi Torres hit, but most people forget how Hossa helped throw the Hawks on his back and carry them to the playoffs.
Hossa passed the 900 point career plateau during last season, but it’s not just his offensive play that makes Hossa such a great player. It’s the fact the Hossa can dominate in all areas of the ice which is proven by his career +163.
Hossa has been cleared to play and he has continued to tell people that he feels great and doesn’t feel any post concussion affects. Hossa’s health could be a huge factor on how dangerous a team the Blackhawks are when the season kicks off, which is basically on the road for the Hawks in the first twelve games.
There are of course rumors sponsored by Twitter that either Patrick Kane or Marian Hossa will have to be gone by the trading deadline. Both players seem way to important and Stan Bowman is far too slow to pull off a blockbuster trade for Blackhawks fans to lose much sleep over that possibility.
Hossa has been a very consistent scorer his entire career so with that in mind his over/under is set at 21 goals 31 assists. What do you predict for Hossa this season?
