On this date in Chicago Blackhawks history,
On February 19, 1927 George Hay recorded the first hat trick in Chicago Blackhawks history.
The 1927 season was Hay’s only season with the Hawks which he played 35 games collecting 14 goals and 8 assists. Hay played most of his 239 games played career in Detroit, but on this date he made Chicago Blackhawks history.
