Game #28– Chicago Blackhawks (22-2-3) at Dallas Stars (12-11-3)

Game Time-7:00 Pm Central Time

TV– CSN-Chicago FS-Southwest

Radio-WGN

Season series– Hawks lead 1-0 after the Hawks come from behind victory in Dallas on January 24th. Marian Hossa scored the O.T. winner after Patrick Kane made a great behind the back pass to set up the game winner.

Preview– The Stars are fighting for a playoff spot and are struggling to find goals. Jamie Benn is day to day and could possibly miss tonight’s game he also missed the first meeting between the teams.  Dallas is coming off a 2-1 shoot out loss to the Ducks and they played the Hawks tough last time behind the play of goalie Kari Lechtonen who made some incredible stops only to be stuck with the OT loss earlier this season.

The Hawks picked up the 2-1 OT  shoot out win Thursday night win and look to build some  momentum. This is the time of the year that teams start making their playoff push while other players are playing for the next contract. With Dallas fighting for the playoff the  Hawks will need to avoid the blue line turnovers that plagued them Thursday night in Columbus.  It would also be nice to see the offense start getting more pucks in the net, the Hawks had three open nets that they couldn’t convert. This will be Jimmy Hayes second game filling for Patrick Sharp and I look for him to have a stronger showing in Dallas.

Prediction– The Hawks will leave Big D with a 4-2 victory.
