One thing that the streak and 24-3-3 start has taken care of is huge Chicago Blackhawk trade rumors. The last time the trading deadline arrived there was a big Patrick Kane rumor and thankfully that was a lot to do about nothing. Patrick Kane is having a huge season with 16 goals and 22 assists in 30 games.

Now comes the upcoming 2013 trade deadline and all the new rumors but the streak and teamwork the Hawks have shown for the past two months should make this a very quiet trade deadline period for Blackhawks fans.  Not only should the streak keep the Hawks quiet during this period it’s also that making big moves by GM Stan Bowman isn’t his plans which never call for a big move. Bowman’s goal is to build a Championship organization for an extend period of time not just a small window which takes years to build and it’s not made by making splashy moves but through solid moves within the organization.

If the Hawks happen to make a move it will be for a center which of course has been the rumor for going on two years now. The question is what are the Hawks going to give up? If you google Blackhawks trade rumors the biggest rumor is the Hawks trading Nick Leddy which to me is ludicrous.  We are going to watch Leddy grow before our eyes and then when he really starts to come into his own then the Hawks are going to trade him.

The Hawks aren’t going to make any big moves but moving Daniel Carcillo is always a possibility with the continued improving play of Brandon Saad on the first line. Carcillo could be a fit for a team looking for some toughness.

Yes, there is not real rumors here, just the fact that the Streak and the Start the real trade rumor for the Blackhawks should say—-> NONE!!
