Game #32– Calgary Flames (12-14-4) vs Chicago Blackhawks (24-4-3)

TV– CSN Chicago

Radio-WGN

Season Series– Hawks The lead 1-0. Ray Emery‘s big game led to a Hossa goal with less than 3 seconds left which led to a overtime victory.

Preview- The Flames are at the bottom of the standings but the talk today will be if the Hawks will trade for Jarome Iginla since he said that the Hawks are one of four teams he would except a trade to.  One thing is for sure Iginla would help the powerplay but the Hawks have been missing Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp. The Flames outplayed the Hawks in Calgary but didn’t finish the task so don’t look for them to come out scared in Chicago.

The Hawks had four days off but still looked a step slow against LA especially against their pressure. Crawford wasn’t sharp but the play in front of him was worse especially by Johnny Oduya and Michal Rozsivlal. The Hawks are now 3-4 in the last seven and need to get back on the right foot against the Flames at the United Center. Michael Frolik was very good replacing the injured Marian Hossa on the top line getting three points Monday night. Ray Emery gets the start tonight.

Prediction– Coach Q will not be happy about Monday night and the Hawks will grind out a 3-1 win against Calgary, and a lot of Iginla chatter all day long!
