The newest Chicago Blackhawk signed his contract on the same day the Blackhawks won the last Central Division Championship ever. Drew LeBlanc won the College Player of the Year while playing at St Cloud State. This past season LeBlanc scored 13 goals and 37 assists in 42 games.
LeBlanc does play center but don’t expect him to jump in and be the answer Hawks fans have been looking for in a #2 center since they won the Stanley Cup.
LeBlanc is 23 so due to his age the Hawks are only able to sign LeBlanc to a one year contract and he becomes a restricted free agent at the end of the year. LeBlanc will wear #14 and report to the Hawks since the rosters are expanded after the trade deadline.
What do you think? Big deal ,Little deal, or a whole lot to do about nothing?
