Season Series– The Hawks lead 2-0 winning both time in Phoenix and scoring 6 goals in both games 6-4 and 6-2.

Preview– The Coyotes have to leave Chicago with 2 points to keep their playoff hopes alive they currently sit 5 points outside of the 8th seed in the Western Conference.  After eliminating the Hawks from the playoffs last season there could be a big chip on the Hawks shoulder to get the win and put a bigtime detour sign on the Coyotes path to the playoffs.

The Hawks have only one mission from this point on and that is to get to the playoffs without any injuries.  People had to start shaking their heads as both Andrew Shaw and Michal Handzus headed to the locker room during the game Friday night luckily both made it back to the ice. Corey Crawford didn’t do much to stop the goalie controversy talk by giving up 4 goals to the punchless Nashville Predator team.

Prediction– The Coyotes need this game pretty bad so look for a 4-3 Coyote win in a  shoot out of course I’m rooting for another 6 goal outburst by the Hawks.

What is your prediction for tonight’s game?
