There are three things from last night’s game that is relevant
1. The Blackhawks played their worst game of the season by far. The Vancouver Canucks played like it was a playoff game and the Hawks didn’t come close to playing to that level.
2. Dave Bolland hurt his ,groin, errr lower body injury which hopefully isn’t serious and he is ready for the playoffs next week.
3. Duncan Keith’s interview remarks after the 3-1 loss to the Hawks most hated rival.
I’m sure by now everyone has heard the interview but if you haven’t here is the interview from Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune.
Back in the old days this wouldn’t even been a story because nobody would have heard about it because the media protected players. Even in the era of sports talk this could have been a hot topic but it would have taken a while to get noticed, but this is the times of social media and all it takes is one Tweet or post of Facebook for it to spread like wild-fire.
This is the Hawks most hated rival and the Hawks played bad so does Keith get excused? Could an apology early this morning stopped any of this media coverage?
My question is what do you the fans think of the comments? Big Deal, Little Deal, or a whole lot to do about nothing? I understand that the vast majority of people reading this are Hawks fans but even if you the biggest Hawks fan and Keith’s comments upset you let us hear them in our comments section!
