We have all seen the clip by now which is very humorous, but I doubt anyone expected just 48 hours after the slip up before the Chicago Blackhawks first round playoff game against the Minnesota Wild that Susannah Collins would not be employed by CSN-Chicago.
The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Collins was part of some raunchy sports YouTube videos from a few years back that have not become as viral as the sex slip up tape and that this is the reason that she and CSN have parted ways.
If this is the reason it seems like CSN did a poor job in handling the situation that would have surely brought more ratings and national interest on the station especially the next time she reported from a Blackhawks game. Besides the fact that they must not have done due diligence before hiring her in the first place. One thing is for sure the reaction snapshot on Twitter has been disbelief and disappointment that CSN moved this fast in cutting ties with Collins.
One thing is for sure that with the national spotlight on her, Collins will not be without a job for very long and that the slip up while costing her the CSN job will probably make her a lot more money in the long run when she signs her next contract.
A slip up before Game one of the Hawks series and she doesn’t even make it to Game 2 let a lone finish the series!
If you are one of the few people who haven’t seen the tape here it is one last time.
At least we are less than 24 hours away from watching Blackhawks playoff hockey Game #2!
