Mike Richards will miss his second straight game tonight in Game #3 of the Western Conference Finals according to coach Darryl Sutter. Richards was the recipient of a Dave Bolland elbow in Game #1 and although he sat on the bench for the rest of the game and participated in pre-game skate before Game #2 was a late scratch for the 4-2 Kings defeat to the Blackhawks.
It was just released that Richards will not play tonight in a huge Game #3 for the Kings as they try to keep their perfect record at Staples Center in place while not allowing the Blackhawks to jump out to a 3-0 series lead.
Here is the hit that has forced Richards to the sideline.
Tyler Toffoli started in place of Richards in Game #2 and scored a goal in the contest.
What do you think? Is this a huge blow to the Kings tonight?
