In case you missed it, Joey the Jr. Reporter is back. Some love him, others think he’s awkward and just need to look away. But in the middle of the playoffs and the beginning of an intense Stanely Cup Finals, sometimes Chicago Blackhawks fans could use a little bit of the levity brought on by an 8 year old boy demanding answers from grown men about the progress (or lack) of their playoff beards.
And honestly, if there’s anything ladies love more than hockey it’s watching the players talk to kids. It’s like a win-win situation, except it’s a win-win-win situation.
So before you get too tense during the finals, check out Joey getting back on the beat. He asks the tough questions, like who has the best facial covering and who needs to step up their game on the ice to make up for extreme patchiness on their face. Jonathan Toews must defend his lamb chops while Patrick Sharp laments over his “patchiness” and the very few and proud (Duncan Keith) lovingly caresses his lower face.
Who do you think has the best playoff beard on the Blackhawks?
