Where do we go from here after a 2-0 loss and now a 2-1 Series deficit?
1. We haven’t lost nothing yet! When there are 4 losses and there is hand shakes then it’s over until then don’t listen to the media and negative Hawks fans and get back to playing Blackhawks hockey. The Hawks have faced adversity in the Detroit series and responded, and now they face adversity heading into Game #4 and it’s time to respond. Winning the Stanley Cup is never easy and now is the time for the stars to become legends.
2. Establish a net presence again– Tuukka Rask had an easy night because nobody was in front of him in Game #3. Byran Bickell was huge in the Hawks comeback against Detroit by putting his big body in front of Jimmy Howard. Getting in front of Rask got them weird goals in Game #1 and early in Game #2. Getting back in front of Rask to create chances has to be back in the game plan. I do like what Bickell did in the last seconds of the game when he stood up to Zedeno Chara. Hopefully Bickell will wake up from his 6 game slide since he was the hottest free agent on the planet.
3. Win a Faceoff– PERIOD
4. The Powerplay has to get back to Average– The Hawks powerplay has been fill your adjective in here __________. The Hawks have to be able to at least get pucks on net and not give up countless short-handed chances to the Bruins. If your going to play hard to create the man advantage at least play hard and get pucks on net when you have the man advantage.
5. Captain Where Art Thou- Jonathan Toews needs to make an appearance in the Finals like he did in Game #5 of the Detroit Series! He doesn’t need a hat trick but he needs to see a puck find the back of the net.
-The Hawks are only down 2-1!!! If the Hawks win Game #4 the whole series flips back to the Hawks and their momentum!! Don’t lose the faith because it’s the Cup!!!
Where do you want the Hawks to go from here?
