The last guy to score in Game #5 in Chicago was Dave Bolland to secure a 3-1 victory. He scored the last goal in Game #6 but that one was crazy historic good that will last in Chicago Blackhawks and Sports lore forever. What a wild crazy 17 seconds to win the second Stanley Cup for the Blackhawks in 4 seasons.
Bolland is a playoff gamer but the check he collects of $3.2 million is a little high for a guy that floats from second to fourth line center. Now comes the news today that there will be buy-outs from the Blackhawks and Bolland is on the trade market.
The question is will the memory of Bolland muscling all the Bruins for the winning be enough for teams to pick up his big contract or will it be too much for too little regular season production?
From Stanley Cup goal clincher to the trading block and it’s all before the Friday Stanley Cup parade, a pretty wild ride to say the least.
Here is our poll question.
