Doc Emrick kept saying if these two teams played a hundred times they would both win 50, but  both teams heart and souls were injured and question marks heading into the contest with both Patrice Bergeron and Jonathan Toews game time decisions.  Both started and while Bergeron wasn’t a factor, the Captain was a huge factor.

The Bruins scored first, but early in the 2nd Toews beat Chara to the punch and went down on a 2 on 1 and beat Rask to tie up the contest.

Many on Twitter were suggesting in the third period the next goal wins and it sure looked like that when Milan Lucic was camped in front of Corey Crawford, when for one of the few times the Hawks defense failed them, and he put one in off the back of Crawford to give the Bruins the lead.  Everyone had the feeling with such a great series that the goal was a sign that the series was going 7 games.

With 1:30 left

Joel Quenneville

pulled Crawford and one of the most dramatic magical minutes in Blackhawks history was about to take place.  Words can’t describe the excitement and shock! The Hawks were going to win the Cup for the 2nd time in 4 years after a 49 year draught!  This was the greatest game in the run please enjoy the best 17 seconds in Hawks history!!

What was your top 5 games in the run for the Stanley Cup?  What a super run!!
