Chicago Blackhawks Trade Rumors: Fact or Smokescreen

It’s draft day and the building is filling up with GM’s and reporters and now the questions gets asked that everyone wants to know the answer to.

When asked about the Blackhawks trading up to the top 5 Stan Bowman gave the response everyone that follows the Chicago Blackhawks would expect to hear him say 2 hours before the draft.

So is this answer just a smokescreen or fact?

Granted in two hours we will know for sure, but there is a lot of time for wiggle room from both Bowman and the other GM’s. Of course Bowman is not going to show his hand but thoughts of a Blockbuster move up the draft can be read into answers like this.

Will Dave Bolland still be a Blackhawk at the end of the day or will Bowman put together his first Blockbuster since 2010? Time will tell if he’s telling the truth or covering up a monster deal.

PROBABILITY- 25%-Only a minor deal from Bowman because that’s what Bowman does!!
