This list was extremely difficult to compile. Each goal in the playoffs could have been the difference between winning and losing the Stanley Cup.  Each one of these goals gives me chills every time I watch them.

Here are my Top 5 Chicago Blackhawks Playoff goals:

  1. What can you do in 17 seconds?? Brian Bickell and Dave Boland changed the history of a franchise and cemented their legacy with the Blackhawks forever.

2. Patrick Kane had been called out by Coach Q earlier in the playoffs. Kane responded with a stellar Western Conference final and Stanley Cup Final. This goal propelled the Blackhawks to their second Stanley Cup Finals appearance in five years.

3. Before this goal, the national media had given the Stanley Cup to the Boston Bruins. The parade route had already been set in Boston. Brent Seabrook changed the course of the series and ended one of the craziest games in the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals.

4. This goal saved the Blackhawks from the brink in Western Conference semi finals. It was a fitting way for the Blackhawks to send off their bitter rival.

5. This goal ended one of the longest games in Stanley Cup Finals history. It also coined a new phrase “I love Shinpads”!

Kids all around the world will be trying to re-enact these  goals. Those were my top 5 playoff goals. Blackhawks fans what are yours?
