The first week of August had a few big news stories, especially if you’re a Blackhawks fan – Bryan Bickell‘s wedding, Stanley Cup sightings (because, you know, it’s ours now), and changes with the United Center’s nickname. But first, here is the best reply from last week’s hashtag #NHLSpoilers.
@Blackhawk_Up Hawks repeat! Wait that's not too crazy..... Is it?

Just recently, news broke that the United Center would no longer have the “Madhouse on Madison” signage. We have a poll on our site to get your reactions, but here are just a few of the first.
Not happy bout the madhouse on Madison sign being removed @NHLBlackhawks @Blackhawk_Up #LEDdoesntmeanitsbetter

@Blackhawk_Up they are selling to the brand new generation of Blackhawks fans, where the UC will be the MoM.

Stan Bowman made some room on the team for the Blackhawks’ young talent, and he seems pretty excited about it. But it looks like we’ll have to wait at least another year before we see 2012 first round draft pick, Tuevo Teravainen.
@Blackhawk_Up Teuvo said he needs atleast one season here with Jokerit. Good for us #jokerit fans!

Our first tweet accidentally restarted the #ShawFacts craze.
Andrew Shaw gets hit in the face with a puck. The puck sits out for the rest of the period getting stitches. #NHLSpoilers

So in honor of that, this week’s hashtag is #HockeyFacts.
