Mark Scheifele is ready to make the jump after two seasons that saw him break out as the future of the Winnipeg Jets. After dominating at the OHL level and in the World Junior Hockey Championship, Scheifele took reps with the best players in Jets camp, and the preseason, in 2011. He played six regular season games that year, And had Jets’ fans abuzz about what could be, after a solid performance.

Fast-forward to 2013. Scheifele finished his junior career, and is off to the show. On a team desperate to get into the playoffs after two unsuccessful seasons, Scheifele can provide a useful energetic spark they need to power the offense, and after a couple years experience, can become the face of the franchise.
