Patrick Kane isn’t the conventional player that is found on this list, but he gets under the skin of fans everywhere just the same. Kane doesn’t fight, hit, or chirp, but his demeanour is more than enough to set the opposition off, as well as their supporters.

Kane is hated because he plays the game with a confident style, that most take as cocky. The 2007 1st overall draft pick has an extreme amount of talent, and he is one of the Chicago Blackhawks’ biggest offensive weapons. Scoring goals, great passes, and explosive speed are all some of the things that frustrate his opponents, and he doesn’t hold back when he celebrates.

Kane’s scandalous off-season behaviour only fuels the fire. In 2012 pictures of him intoxicated filled the Internet, and after punching a cab driver just a few years before, he lost more fans as well.

Any way you cut it, Kane is a player you’d love to have on your team, and love to hate otherwise. He has more Conn Smythe and Stanley Cup wins than Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin, combined.
