After a hard-fought season that many believed would never actually happen, we are lucky as Chicago Blackhawks fans to have been rewarded with the ultimate payoff.  We went from the lowest of lows in the fall of 2012, to the highest of highs in the summer of 2013.  This might arguably go down as the most memorable season in the history of the Chicago Blackhawks.  If you were one of the many faithfuls of Hawks Nation.  One of the many that followed the lockout negations, all the way to “17 seconds”, consider yourself lucky.  This cup is for all of us.  This is why sports fans ARE sports fans.  We all want to experience the ultimate pay-off.  Many sports fans never get to understand what that feels like, so we are truly blessed.  After watching the Hawks go through the dog days of the season, there’s something comforting and fun about watching these same Hawks guzzling beer from the cup, being buried in confetti, and just seeing these guys partying amongst the masses and having the time of their lives.

Savor this.  Enjoy this.  And get excited for the 2013-2014 season.

Let’s Go Hawks!!
