Michal Handzus over/under 2013-2014

Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Stan Bowman is known for his under the radar deals at the trading deadline. Previous deals have included Chris Campoli in 2010-11 and Johnny Oduya 2011-12. Last season was no exception. Last season Bowman went out and acquired a seldom used center in Michal Handzus.

Handzus played in 11 games with Blackhawks and 39 total games last season. When Handzus was acquired by the Blackhawks, he found himself playing the second line center position in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Handzus stabilizing the second line center position helped the Blackhawks to their 2nd Stanley Cup Championship in 4 years.

This coming season Handzus was brought back to the Blackhawks. The reports have had said that Handzus will be a fourth line center / a part time player. In 39 games last season, Handzus had 2 goals, 6 assists, 8 points, -2 rating, and 16 PIM. During the playoffs, his stat line read as 23 games, 3 goals, 8 assists, 11 points, +7 rating and 6 PIM.

With that being said, the line for Handzus will be over/under 10 goals, 10 assists, 20 points, +1 rating, and 20 PIM.
