Nick Leddy is the current Blackhawk wearing #8.  Leddy was used sparingly in the final round of the Hawks Stanley Cup run, and is looking for a bigger offensive role this season. Leddy is just 22 years and already has 176 games under his belt with 13 goals and 42 assists to his credit. Leddy was rumored to be trade bait during the offseason, but it looks like Stan Bowman has long-term plans for Leddy, and hopefully he will be a big part of the Hawks new and improved powerplay.
