5. Bryan Bickell will live up to his contract.

Bickell will live up to his 4 year 16 million dollar contract. He will play a solid winger on the top line with Jonathan Toews, and Patrick Kane.  Bickell will have a major impact on the power play. He will be the bug body in front of the net obstructing goalies views all season.

4. The Blackhawks Power Play will be above the league average.

Last season the Blackhawks power play was successful 16.67% of the time last season. The league average was 18.22%. This season with Bickell on the power-play the Blackhawks will be above the league average. The coaches hopefully instilled the urgency of shooting on the power-play to the Blackhawks.

3. Jonathan Toews will win the Hart Trophy.

Toews won the Selke award last season as the best defensive forward. With the short offseason and the Olympic break, Toews will show the entire NHL that he deserved to win the award last season. He will be the best player in the NHL this season.
