A worldwind day for Brandon Pirri from getting recalled from Rockford late last night, and now he’s in the lineup tonight against the Buffalo Sabres according to Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Pirri probably would have made the team when the season started if it wasn’t for an early training camp injury.  Pirri has played in 7 games with the Blackhawks over three different seasons, and Pirri had this to say about tonight.

It will be excited to see Pirri try to take full advantage of this opportunity. There is one other note about tonight’s contest is that it will be Patrick Sharp 600th contest.

What do you think of Pirri getting his first shot with the Blackhawks tonight?
