10. LA Kings 7-4-0: Anze Kopitar has been the points leader for the Kings with 10 assists but only 1 goal. They need more goals from Kopitar this season and so another year of when will the Kings offense show up has begun.

9: Vancouver Canucks 8-4-1: Do you think Roberto Luongo likes being the starting goalie? Well this season he is 6-3-1 with a 2.54 goals against, but he probably likes all the blocked shots in front of him even more with the Canucks moving from dead last to first in this category.

8. Chicago Blackhawks: The Blackhawks gave up 6 goals in a loss on Thursday night and 5 goals in a loss on Saturday night. Defensive and goalie issues are plaguing the Blackhawks. On a positive note Bryan Bickell has 4 goals in 4 games.

7. The Toronto Maple Leafs: 7-4-0 Phil Kessel has 6 goals and 6 assists this season. The Maple Leafs are shocking everyone in the NHL by leading the Atlantic division. Will it last is the question?

6. Anaheim Ducks: 8-3-0.  I read an article that the Ducks are flying under the radar this season. Whose Radar is that? QUACK QUACK QUACK!!!

5. Boston Bruins 7-2-0: The Bruins don’t score many goals (27 good for 20th out of 30) but don’t allow many either (13 good for 1st of 30th). They suffered a huge blow by losing Loui Eriksson indefinitely.

4. The Pittsburgh Penguins 7-3-0:  Sidney Crosby has 8 goals and 10 assists.  The surprise on this team is Marc-Andre Fleury. Fleury is 7-1-0 with a 1.74 goals against.

3. Colorado Avalanche 9-1-0: The Avalanche can do no wrong. Semyon Varlamov is 6-1-0 with 1.73 Goals against. Backup goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere is 3-0-0 with a .067 goals against. Nathan MacKinnon has 1 Goal and 6 assists. Patrick Roy is the magic man this season.

2. St. Louis Blues 6-1-2: The Blues do not know who their offensive stars are on the team. Alex Steen is making a case to be a star. Steen has 8 goals and 5 assists this season to lead the Blues.

1. San Jose Sharks 9-1-1: The San Jose Sharks have been a tear this season. Antti Niemi is having a great year with an 8-1-1 record with a 1.67 goals against. He also recorded the best save of the season.
