The Chicago Blackhawks for the 2nd time in four seasons visit the White House and President Barak Obama on Monday afternoon.  It is the final last reward in what is a summer full of rewards for winning the Stanley Cup last summer in Boston.

The Blackhawks went 49 years without the fruits of the Stanley Cup, but now after a year that no one will soon forget the Hawks are off to the Nation’s Capital for the second time in the 2010’s.  Normally these visits are a sound bite and a lot of uncomfortable moments, but with President Obama’s ties to Chicago look for more than one sound bite during the visit.

It was interesting that Brandon Bollig said he shaved for his trip to the White House so even though only 6 Blackhawks including Bollig are American, the teams and franchise is looking forward to Monday’s visit.

Here are the details for today’s White House Visit.

Start Time: 1Pm Central

TV: CSN-Chicago

Online Streaming- will be streaming the event live.

What will you be looking forward to the most while watching the Hawks visit D.C.?
