Well who would have thought we would be talking about Kris Versteeg in our prediction thread while wearing a Chicago Blackhawks jersey ever again? Certainly a stunner of a trade late Thursday night, and now the Blackhawks head to Nashville with their new but old third line winger.  The Blackhawks will face the first Keep the Red out night in “Smashville” but before we make tonight’s prediction let’s take a look back at the Coyotes Prediction.

Last Game Prediction– Another close one but not quite although I had Brandon Pirri scoring a goal.  Pirri was correct, but Ben Smith didn’t come up with a goal while I had a 5-3 Hawks win predicted the final tally was 5-4 in a shootout.  So Close yet so far away.

Tonight’s Prediction– The Predators are playing some miserable hockey right now and they meet a team that is starting to put a lot of pucks in the net.  The Predators do get Nikolai Khabibulin in net so this could get a little more sideways than it should if Corey Crawford was in net.  Andrew Shaw did say with Kris Versteeg back they could score 8 goals a game so I’m going with Shaw and taking the Hawks 8-3 with Versteeg picking up a goal and an assist.
