The Blackhawks not only lost to the avalanche 5-1 on Tuesday night, but they also lost a player. The Blackhawks lost Bryan Bickell to a lower body injury.

Today the Blackhawks announced that they will be recalling Jeremy Morin. Morin was send down on November 15th will rejoin the Blackhawks before Thursday came against the Winnpeg Jets. This will Morin second stint with the Blackhawks this season.

Morin who has been productive with Icehogs recording 11 points in 10 games at Rockford. Has not enjoyed the same amount of sucess with the Blackhawks this season. He has just a mircoscopic two points in six games.

Morin who has played sparingly in his six games averaging only 8:53 per game.

Morin who has become a full time resident in Coach Quenneville doghouse, must prove himself to earn more ice time.  My speculation is that Morin will himself on the third line with the injuries to Marian Hossa and Bickell.

With the timeframe of Bickell’s injury unknown, Morin’s recall hopefully could spell the end of  Sheldon Brookbank at forward code named #projectbrookbank. Brookbank who looked better on defense this season, has not SHOWN ANYTHING at forward.

Hopefully Morin makes the most his chance this time around..YOU never really know how many chances you have.
