10. Boston Bruins 15-6-2: Tuukka Rask proved to be a mere mortal this week. The shootout loss this week to Blues highlights that fact. In case you missed it:

9. Minnesota Wild 15-5-4: The Wild continue to roll, winnings two in a row. They are 8-1-1 in their last ten games. They did suffer a significant injury this past week. Josh Harding injured himself during pregame warm-ups on Saturday. Niklas Backstrom will take over the net minding duties.

8. Pittsburgh Penguins 15-9-0: The Penguins would be the ONLY east team to make the playoffs if they were currently playing in the West. Sidney Crosby has 30 points to lead the NHL, now Pierre Maguire can cheer his head off.

7.  Los Angeles Kings 15-6-3: The post Jonathan Quick era has begun this week. Ben Scrivens is the full time goalie for the time being. His numbers are 5-1-2 with a 1.43 goals against. Can the Kings weather the storm???

6. Chicago Blackhawks 16-4-4: The Blackhawks Corey Crawford has started a record high 22 games and recorded 15 wins on the season. This is an alarming stat because the Blackhawks cannot depend on a backup goalie this season.
