10. Minnesota Wild 15-8-4: The Wild were flying high last week. This week is a different story. The Wild have lost three in a row. Zach Parise suffered a foot injury that has hampered his play. Josh Harding has been mortal recently. Niklas Backtsrom will start their next game.

9. Phoenix Coyotes 15-6-4: The Coyotes need to play better defense if they want to survive in the ultra tough Western Conference. They have signed Gilbert Brule to a two way contract today.

8. Pittsburgh Penguins 18-9-1: The Penguins have won three in a row and are 7-2-1. Saturday night Evgeni Malkin had one goal and three assists for four points on the night.  Malkin has seven goals and 28 assists on the season.

7. Boston Bruins 18-7-2: The Boston Bruins are 7-2-1 and have won two in a row. The Bruins beat the Blue Jackets 3-1 with two goals coming from Milan Lucic. Lucic has 11 goals and 9 assists on the season.

6.  Los Angeles Kings 16-6-4: The Kings are 6-0-4 in their last ten games. The Kings are hanging tough in the post Jonathan Quick era. Ben Scrivens is 6-1-4 with 94.7 % save percentage. He has 1.48 goals against this season.  Quick who??
