Today’s roster moves make more sense and yet make less sense all in one.  Andrew Shaw and Michal Handzus are not making the trip to Minnesota for Thursday night’s matchup versus the Minnesota Wild.

Sure it could have been the big hit at the end of the game that knocked out Shaw for tomorrow night, but this couldn’t have helped and it’s just an excuse to use the fight GIF again.

With two forwards well three actually when you throw Bryan Bickell‘s injury out it makes sense that the Blackhawks called up two forwards, what makes absolutely no sense is why they sent down Brandon Pirri when they will obviously need a couple of centers for tomorrow night’s matchup against the Wild, a team that is playing good hockey right now.

Tomorrow mornings lines will be pretty interesting and we all look forward to seeing them. It still doesn’t make any sense if they knew this ahead of time why Pirri got shipped.
