8: Pittsburgh Penguins 20-10-1: The Peguins are white hot in their last ten games. They are 7-2-1. Defenseman Brooks Orpik suffered a very scary injury against the Bruins. Orpik is doing well and has already rejoined the team.

7. Montreal Candiens 19-9-3: The Habs are currently the hottest team in hockey. They are 9-0-1 in their last ten games and have won their last five in a row.

P.K. Subban

has 24 points on the season.

6. Colorado Avalanche 20-7-0: The Avs are 6-4 in their last ten games. They are the only team not to lose an overtime game. Max Talbot finally scored his first Avs goal recently. Semyon Varlamov and Jean-Sebastien Giguere might be the best goalie duo in  hockey this season.

5. Los Angeles Kings 19-7-4: The LA Kings are 6-1-3 in their last ten games. They have won three games in a row. Mike Richards has 23 points on the season. Ben Scrivens is 7-2-4 with a 1.56 goals against this season.
