The Philadelphia Flyers haven’t visited Chicago since January 2011 and now they arrive in the Windy City with one of last years Stanley Cup Champions in net against his former team. Ray Emery was instrumental in helping the Hawks jump out to a record setting start to the season with his performance against the Calgary Flames being most memorable. Emery and Corey Crawford were a great tandem that ended up winning the Jennings Trophy and in the end both hoisting the Stanley Cup. Now Emery wears orange tonight in the United Center against his former team so Round 1 goes tonight minus Corey Crawford.
Last Game Prediction– Nailed the prediction that Jonathan Toews would pick up his 400th career point, but totally whiffed on the score with the Hawks blowing out the Stars instead of just winning in overtime.
Tonight’s Prediction– The Hawks always seem to have good success against former goalies, so look for an offensive show tonight with Brandon Bollig sneaking in a goal in the Hawks 5-3 win.
