The Toronto Maple Leafs host the Chicago Blackhawks tonight, the last time we saw them they were playing really good but the last time they were being led by former Blackhawk Dave Bolland. Bolland has been out with injury and the Maple Leafs have sunk to the last playoff team in the Eastern Conference. The Maple Leafs do have a strange stat in their favor heading into tonight, they have won every game (3) that the opposition has given up 50 shots on net which is a strong possibility tonight with the Blackhawks firing on all cylinders on offense.
Last games prediction– I only predicted 5 goals for the Hawks so I was way off with them scoring 7, and Bollig only picked up an assist instead of sneaking in a goal during the offensive fireworks.
Tonight’s Prediction– The Hawks will have every opportunity to score 5 or more goals against a team that gives up tons of shots on goal. Look for the Hawks to make it 4 games in a row with 6 tallies in a 6-3 win with Kris Versteeg scoring a goal and picking up a couple helpers.
