10. Colorado Avalanche 21-9-1: The Avs have been facing some issues on the ice and off the ice issues. On the Ice they are 5-4-1 in their last ten games. Off the ice, the Semyon Varlamov is marred in a messy legal battle with a ex girlfriend. Former NHL stars are coming to Varlamov’s aid via the media.

9. Vancouver Canucks 20-10-5: The Vancouver Canucks are hot, they have won seven in a row. They are 8-1-1 in their last ten games.

of the Bruins aggravated the Canucks.  They defeated the Bruins 6-2. Six different Canucks scored in that game.

8: Boston Bruins 22-9-2: The Bruins have been involved in “controversial plays” recently. Pens forward James Neal got suspended five games for kneeing Brad Marchand in the head. Marchand kissed the ring when playing the Canucks. Shawn Thornton got 15 games for throwing down Brad Oprik and punching on the ice. Oh yeah, they are 7-3-0 in their last ten games.

7. Montreal Candiens 20-11-3: The Habs were the hottest team in the NHL last week. They were 9-0-1, riding hit on a nine game winning streak. The streak came to an end this week. They are only 7-2-1 in their last ten games. Carey Price is stilling hoping to make team Canada.

6. Pittsburgh Penguins 23-10-1: James Neal was give five games for kneeing Brad Marchand in the head this week. The Penguins suffered a huge loss in Evgeni Malkin . He suffered a lower body injury late last week. The Pens are 8-1-1 in their last ten games and have won three in a row.

5. San Jose Sharks 20-7-6: The Sharks are 5-4-1 in their last ten games. Joe Thornton has 5 goals and 30 assists on the season. Patrick Marleau has 15 goals and 17 assists on the season. Despite their impressive record, they are THIRD in their own division.
