The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have activated Bryan Bickell from Injured Reserve. In order to make room for Bickell, the Blackhawks have reassigned forward Jeremy Morin to Rockford. Bickell on the season has 6 goals and 1 assist. Before getting injured Bickell had scored goals in four consecutive games from October 19th-October 26th. Bickell has missed the last 14 games for the Blackhawks.

Morin has appeared in 15 games with the Blackhawks, posting 1 goal and 4 assists. Morin will return to the Rockford Ice Hogs. Morin  has 12 points in 13 games with the Icehogs this season. Morin has been skating with the third line for most of his time with the Blackhawks. Most people knew a move was coming last night when Morin was a healthy scratch against the Kings. Sheldon Brookbank took his place against the Kings.

Bickell will more than likely resume his place on the third line with Andrew Shaw and Kris Versteeg. This will be the lineup the Blackhawks envisioned when they traded for Kris Versteeg. The Blackhawks will take on the Nashville Predators on Tuesday at 7:00pm CST.
