14. Detroit Red wings 17-12-9: Despite winning two in a row, the Red Wings are 3-5-2 in their last ten games. The Wings are faced with a goalie dilemma, Jimmy Howard is struggling and Jonas Gustavsson is excelling. Who do they start??

13. Minnesota Wild 19-11-5: The Wild have to deal with something no other NHL team does. They have a goalie with MS. This week they placed Josh Harding on IR while he adjusts to his new medicine. Hardening  18-5-3 with a 1.51 goals against on the season. Niklas Backstrom will resume the starting role with the Wild.

12. Phoenix Coyotes 19-10-6: The Coyotes are 4-4-2 in their last ten games. Antoine Vermette recorded a hat trick this week for the Coyotes. Vermette has 12 goals and 10 assists on the season.

11. Tampa Bay Lightning 22-11-3: The lightening are hanging tough despite missing their best player. They have won four in a row and are 6-2-2 in their last ten games. Ben Bishop is one of the main reasons for the Lightning record: he is 19-5-2 with a 1.96 goals against.
