10. Colorado Avalanche 23-10-2: Semyon Varlamov received some happy news this week, the charges have been dropped. Now the Avs can focus on the business of winning.  They are 4-4-2 in their last ten games.

9. Vancouver Canucks 21-11-6: The Canucks are extremely hot and they have yet to gain ground in their own division. They are 8-1-1 in their last ten games.  A name people should get to know is Jason Garrison, he has 22 points on the season.

8. Montreal Candiens 22-13-3: The Habs have been soaring as of late and they got back Danny Briere back this week.  Nobody sure if that will help them or not, The Habs are 6-4 in their last ten games.

7: Boston Bruins 24-10-2: Shawn Thornton appealed his suspension this week. Brad Marchand had a talk with Claude Julien about kissing the ring.  Despite all the controversy surrounding the team, they are 7-3-0 in their last ten games.

6. San Jose Sharks 22-8-6: The Sharks suffered a big loss this week. Their rookie phenom Tomas Hertl suffered a right knee injury. He is slated to be out a month at least. The Sharks are 4-5-1 in their last ten games.
