Duncan Keith continues on the track towards a second Norris Trophy as the NHL’s top defenseman, with another solid week on both sides of the puck. Keith was a big contributor in Chicago’s 3-1 win over the Predators, scoring his third goal of the season, and adding an assist, en route to a Second Star nomination. Keith was his old self against the Canucks, recording a nostalgic game-high 28:17 of TOI, with an even +/- rating. Keith finished off the week with one assist against the Devils, with 7 shots, a season-high. Keith’s week keeps him in the top five across the NHL in assists, with the hightest total by a defenseman  in that category. Keith is also tied with Hossa for the second-highest +/- total on the Blackhawks at +16.
