Team USA won again today at the World Juniors this time by the count of 6-3 to improve their record to 2-0-0.  They only played 2 good periods while taking the 2nd period off which could spell trouble for them when the competition is tougher than Team Slovakia.

Ryan Hartman was pretty quiet on Thursday, but he had a solid game #2 for Team USA.  He showed why he is compared to Andrew Shaw as he has a nose for the puck and at the same is a bear to play against hitting and checking all night long.  The 2013 first round pick by the Blackhawks picked up an assist on Team USA’s first goal and hammered a one-timer past the Slovakian goalie for the 3rd goal of the game.

Team USA takes on Germany tomorrow morning and will be looking for a complete game but for the time being 2-0 is a good spot to be at right now in the tounament!
