25. Nashville Predators 16-18-4: The Predators are on a two game losing streak. The Predators last game was a 4-1 loss to the Stars. Predators have six prospects playing in the WJC. Zach Stephan USA, Flip Forsberg Sweden, Saku Maenalanen Norway, Juuse Saro Finland,and Mikko Vainonen Finland are their prospects in the WJC.

24. Carolina Hurricanes 14-15-9: The Hurricanes earned a point on Saturday against the Penguins. The Hurricanes announced some roster moves this week. They activated Anton Khudobin from IR and assigned him to the AHL for a conditioning assignment. He had played in two games this season before getting injured.

23: Ottawa Senators 15-18-7: The Senators are a maddening team this season. They defeat the Penguins 5-0 and then lose 5-0 to the Bruins. They are 4-4-2 in their last ten games. Bobby Ryan has 17 goals and 17 assists on the season. People should not be surprised when Ryan is selected to team USA on Jan 1st.

22. NY Rangers 18-19-2: This week the Rangers recalled Conor Allen. Allen is in his first pro season out of UMass-Amherst. He has 13 points in 29 games with the Hartford Wolfpack. Injured Ryan Callahan is starting his rehab and has been riding a stationary bike for a week or so.

21. Columbus Blue Jackets 17-17-4: Things are going well for the Blue Jackets. The Blue Jackets have won three in a row and their prospects are playing well in the WJC. Kerby Rychel, Josh Anderson, Oscar Dansk, Mark Dano, and Alexander Wennburg are the Blue Jackets prospects. Wennburg is leading the charge with two goals and one assist in Sweden’s 4-2 over Finland.

20. The Philadelphia Flyers 17-16-4: The Flyers have clawed their way back into the middle of the Metropolitan division. The Flyers are setup for a 12 day 6 game road trip. Jakub Vorachek has been hot lately for the Flyers. He has eight game point streak going.
