Corey Crawford returns to the lineup tonight after missing 10 games with a lower body injury.  The Blackhawks received excellent play from rookie Antti Raanta during Crawford’s absence only giving up more than 2 goals on 2 occasions.

Crawford has started 25 times this season and has a 17-6-3 record with an .907 save percentage and a 2.47 goals against percentage.

Crawford may not have been sorely missed due to the good play of Raanta which included a shut out in his last effort, but it will be good to see the Blackhawks #1 goalie back on the ice in Long Island Thursday night.

The real question is what the Hawks will do with Raanta come Saturday, since the Hawks are carrying 3 goals to New York for the back to back game between the Islanders and Devils.  The argument can be made in either direction to keep Raanta in Chicago or to send him back to Rockford to see more action so it will be interesting to see what Stan Bowman and Coach Q come up with this weekend

Either way the Hawks #1 goalie is back from injury tonight and that should mean plenty of Crawsome Tweets Thursday night!

How excited are you that Crawford will be back tonight?
