The Chicago Blackhawks have a quiet work week with a back to back on the weekend to finish the week with 3 games this week. The Blackhawks also get on national TV for two of the three games this week as they reunite with some Original 6 Teams.

The first game of the week for the Blackhawks is a NBCSN Rivalry Night Matchup against the New York Rangers.  i guess this is a rivalry matchup if you consider they were both Original 6 teams. The Rangers currently sit in 4th place in the Metropolitan Division and if the playoffs started today would be on the outside looking in. The Rangers are better on the road then at Madison Square Garden so expect a good game from them Wednesday night!

On Saturday night the Original 6 matchups continue when the Hawks travel to Montreal to face the Candiens.  Montreal is sitting in third place in the Atlantic Division and are solid at home with a 12-7-3 record.  The Hawks will be on NHL Network and national TV for the second straight game.  The Hawks have been excellent in back to back situations and even a week with only 3 games the Hawks will be playing back to back games.

The week ends on Sunday night at the United Center with a visit by the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers are by far the most dissapointing team in the NHL this season but they have a lot of speed and always seem to give the Hawks fits.

Which game are you most excited about this week?
