It’s been almost 2 calendar years since these two Original 6 teams squared off at the United Center so it will be interesting how long the feeling out process will take before the teams attack.  Hopefully not long for the Hawks who are 23-0-5 when scoring first this season. The Rangers are better on the road than in the comforts of Madison Square Garden so don’t think this will be a cake walk looking at their record! Last Game’s Prediction–  Totally off  on my 5-2 prediction.  I blame the winter vortex for getting me all out of synch with my Blackhawks forecasts!

Tonight’s Prediction– Since we are beginning to thaw out it will be a Blackhawks 5-1 win over the Rangers with Olympic snubs Brandon Saad and Nick Leddy lighting the lamp and just for fun a Brandon Bollig 5 minute fighting major thrown in too.
