It’s been two months since we last saw the Oilers in Edmonton, and it’s been a nose dive to the basement of the standings for the once proud franchise. The Oilers do possess a lot of speed which will be on display at the United Center tonight. The Oilers usually give the Hawks fits but this could be one of those seasons where you do throw out the record books. The Hawks offense is sputtering and could use a lift off and Edmonton coming to town could be the right combination for an offensive outburst.
Last Game Prediction- We messed up the first Original 6 prediction of the week so bad we passed on last night’s Montreal prediction which for sure wouldn’t have read 2-1 Montreal in overtime.
Tonight’s Prediction- The Hawks offense finally meets up with 2014 and the Hawks cruise to a 5-2 win over the Oilers with the birthday boy Marian Hossa picking up a goal and an assist.
What is your prediction for tonight’s game?
